As
time goes by, we get used to man's sacrileges; however,
I cannot help being surprised, time after time, by the
escalation of his incoherence.
Choosing Beijing as representative of the Olympic Games
spirit shows a total lack of respect for sportswomen
and sportsmen.
Even the Greek dared not wage wars in the period of
the games. Coubertin said that the most important thing
was to participate, but not on a land soiled by blood,
not in a country where human rights are openly violated;
the leaders of the world are aware of these violations,
but they will close their eyes, and take part in the
Olympics of the hypocrites.
Do we have to close our eyes and avoid seeing the IOC
members' corruption, so that our sportswomen and sportsmen,
victims of a dealer's blackmail, may fulfil their dream
of suffering?
